Collaboration brings automated group booking engine to over 100,000 hotels

Last month, the distribution division of Pegasus Solutions announced their acquisition and launch as a stand-alone company, under the new brand DHISCO. Groupize and DHISCO aim to spark industry change in the way organizers shop, book and manage small groups and meetings online, automating all aspects of the group business that has historically been handled offline.

The partnership will make the Groupize GBE, a multi-room and group booking engine, available to all of DHISCO’s hotel partners in March 2015. The complete solution includes a white-labeled GBE (Group Booking Engine) for the hotel website, a private group page (HUB mobile platform) for organizers to self-manage their rooms, modifications and payments, and the Pipeline Response Manager (PRM) for hotels to track and automate sales activities for groups and meetings. Now organizers of reunions, weddings, tours, sports trips, family vacations and more can shop, book and manage their small group reservations in real-time on hotel websites and their mobile devices. What once took organizers hours or days to accomplish with eRFP forms, emails and phone calls, can now be done in minutes. This in turn enables hotel sales staff to focus on larger groups and personal guest service and reduce their reliance on third party sites.
