    This October, the BCV Chicago office had the pleasure of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, a charity that welcomes families of pediatric cancer patients to stay overnight while their child receives treatment. About 20 BCVers cooked up a storm, preparing and serving a delicious dinner of falafel, beef kofta, salad, and Brussels sprouts, served with a side of freshly made hummus and pita chips. The team was also able to take a tour of the Ronald McDonald House, where they saw a few of the playrooms families could enjoy, a model of the guest rooms, and the rooftop patios. It was a fantastic experience to not only give back, but to put care and love into a home-cooked meal for others.

    It was another scary fun Halloween celebration for the office! Even though it fell on the snowiest October 31 Chicago has ever seen, the team was not deterred. We had many, many participants in the costume contest, including a group of Tom Hanks lookalikes, characters from "Coco" and "The Lion King," and not one, but three sharks. The party continued with a doughnut-eating contest, baby costume photo quiz, and of course, plenty of treats to go around. If anyone has a sweet tooth, we still have some candy here in Chicago!

    We celebrated another Spooktacular Halloween at the Dallas office! During our annual pumpkin decorating contest the team showed off their individual and team artistic skills – winners were named for the scariest, most creative and most original decorated pumpkins. Our costume contest winners this year were a “Tossed Salad”, “Hippie Chic” and the ever scary “Joker”. The team engaged in some fun team building with a competitive game of “Eyeball Pong” and a messy game of “Fear Factor” of guessing what’s in the slimy bowl of hearts, toes, fingers, intestines and eyeballs, oh my! Eww!

    Diwali, the festival of lights! As the festive season drew near, it swept everyone in the wave of happiness and we at Noida office found yet another reason to celebrate. While the sight of lamps, rangoli, diwali themed decorated workstations and marigold flowers greeted us all around the office, the weeklong fest began with an Astro Talk session. The team engaged in an hour-long Tambola event; the luckier ones got away with cash rewards. We finished the celebrations with gifts and a crazy Diwali bash. People danced their way until midnight. The team in Dallas got into the spirit of the occasion by dazzling the office with beautiful Diwali decorations of creative Rangolis, decorative candles, swags of colorful flowers and many of the team dressed in gorgeous traditional Sarees and Kurta Pajamas. We finished the celebration off with some amazing Biryani, Daal, Tikka Masala, Roti, Glab Jamun and much more – it was a feast of flavors enjoyed by all!! The team in Barcelona cleaned the office, colored the rice for Rangoli a day in advance, made beautiful patterns to celebrate this Diwali. The atmosphere was festive and all were dressed in their best ethic attires.
