Noida, March 23, 2026: RateGain Travel Technologies Limited (RateGain), a global provider of AI-powered SaaS solutions for the travel and hospitality industry, today announced the appointment of Sylvia Weiler as President and General Manager of Sojern’s Global Destinations business. Sojern was acquired by RateGain in 2025.
In this role, Weiler will lead Sojern’s Destinations business globally, helping destination marketing organizations navigate changing traveler discovery patterns, prove economic impact, and drive smarter destination marketing outcomes through AI-powered intelligence.
Weiler brings deep experience across travel, tourism, and destination marketing. She previously helped build Sojern’s destination business and returns after senior leadership roles at Zartico, where she served as Chief Revenue Officer, as well as at Tripadvisor and Airbnb.
Her appointment comes at a time when destination marketers are under increasing pressure to demonstrate measurable economic impact while adapting to rapid shifts in traveler discovery driven by AI-powered search. These themes were highlighted in Sojern’s 2026 State of Destination Marketing Report.
Earlier this month, RateGain consolidated its martech business under Sojern, strengthening its position as the world’s largest source of travel intent data. Weiler’s appointment marks the next step in aligning Sojern’s leadership across its three core verticals: Corporate, Property, and Destinations.
“Sylvia’s deep expertise at the intersection of travel, data, and technology makes her the perfect leader for this next chapter for Sojern,” said Mark Rabe, CEO of Sojern. “Her deep industry roots and forward-thinking approach to AI will be key to unlocking new growth for our partners worldwide. I’m thrilled to have her back on the team.”
“Returning to Sojern at this pivotal moment is a unique opportunity to scale a business I helped build and take it to new heights,” said Sylvia Weiler, President and General Manager, Global Destinations, Sojern. “We are navigating an increasingly complex and competitive landscape, where access to the most sophisticated travel-intent data, combined with AI-driven personalization and transparent measurement, enables our partners not just to reach travelers, but to influence decisions with precision and confidence at scale. I’m energized to lead this next chapter and deliver even greater impact for our partners globally.”
Weiler’s appointment reinforces RateGain’s commitment to building category-leading leadership across its AI-powered travel commerce and marketing businesses.
